Toby Gardner is the Managing Partner for Australia and New Zealand, and Chief Operating Officer in Asia Pacific.
In his role as Managing Partner, Toby is responsible for leading strategy, service delivery, and collaboration across sectors and clients for our Board, Executive Search, and Leadership Advisory practices. Toby remains actively involved in advising boards, CEO’s, and senior executives on board and C-Suite appointments, with extensive experience across financial services and professional services.
As Chief Operating Officer, Toby is responsible for the firm’s central service functions across the Asia Pacific region, including marketing, operations, finance, and IT. Working closely with the regional leadership team, he supports the execution of the regional strategy, strengthens business performance, and supports deeper integration across the Odgers international group.
Prior to joining Odgers, Toby worked for a Big Four global consulting firm for 20 years, specialising in serving financial services clients in the UK, Europe, APAC, and most recently managing clients globally.
Toby has a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Nottingham, has lived in multiple locations globally, with Sydney now firmly his home.
