Susan Thompson

Susan Thompson is Head of the UK Aviation Practice and has specialised in the global aviation sector since 2001, based in London.

Susan conducts business nationally and internationally and is highly experienced in identifying ambitious and talented individuals for commercial, operations, aircraft finance, engineering and safety roles.

During her search career Susan has helped find the best possible C-suite leaders and senior executives for roles spanning: airport and airline operations, customer service, air service development, network planning, revenue management, consulting and airline training - as well as airspace policy, economic regulation, air traffic management; and aircraft finance, asset management, technical, trading and risk.

Susan attends and hosts many industry events and is a Member of The Aviation Club of The UK, the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) and The Airport Operator’s Association (AOA).

A Business Studies and European Languages graduate, Susan spent her early career as Head of Major Accounts for an FTSE 500. She later moved to the City as Managing Director of a small business services company. Prior to moving into executive search in 1998, Susan held board positions as UK Sales & Marketing Director in both private and public sector companies.
