Brian Slomka

Brian brings a strong track record of advising clients across consumer and retail as well as financial services. His work is focused functionally on Human Resources, Technology, and Finance, where he partners with organizations to identify and place high-impact interim and professional talent aligned with evolving business needs.

Prior to joining Odgers, Brian spent nine years with Canadian IT consulting organizations, where he supported small, mid-sized, and enterprise clients in attracting and retaining top talent. This experience shaped his practical, solutions-oriented approach and his ability to work as a trusted partner to hiring leaders navigating complex talent challenges.

In addition to his client work, Brian is actively engaged in the not-for-profit sector and currently serves as Vice-Chair of First Book Canada. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science from Niagara University’s School of Business Administration, with a major in Supply Chain, as well as a diploma in Human Resource Management from Niagara College’s School of Business and Management.
