Michael Iversen

Michael Iversen is a Partner at Odgers’ Copenhagen office, where he is primarily responsible for executive search and board evaluations within the financial sector, Family Offices, and the CFO domain.

Michael Iversen is partner at Odgers' office in Copenhagen. He primarily focuses on recruitment and board evaluations across the financial services industry and has further specialised in Family Offices, family-owned businesses, the automotive sector, and senior finance roles. Michael is part of Odgers’ global Financial Services Practice.

Before joining Odgers, Michael held several senior executive positions within leading Danish financial institutions, including Alm. Brand, Nykredit, Forstædernes Bank, and K.W. Bruun Import. His career spans 25 years of commercial leadership at C-level, with full P&L responsibility, strategic transformation and growth initiatives, as well as the establishment of new business areas and turnaround projects. He also brings extensive experience in IT and digital transformation.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from Copenhagen Business School and a master’s degree in Management from Aarhus School of Business.
