Allan brings over a decade of experience as a boutique search managing partner and senior executive search consultant. He founded and scaled two executive search firms - Lohbus Search Group and Defence Principals - and served as Director and SVP at Mercuri Urval, where he was a member of the global Executive Search Excellence taskforce and managed senior retained searches for international priority accounts at C-suite level.

Allan advises and assesses boards and executive management in complex, regulated environments. He combines solid leadership experience and commercial acumen with methodological rigour and deep sector knowledge across ADS and advanced industry. As a certified Hogan practitioner and ICC-certified coach, he brings a robust grounding in leadership assessment and development. His active engagement at the civil-military interface - serving as a commissioned officer and Ambassador for InterForce under the Danish Armed Forces Command - reflects a first-hand understanding of the dynamics that characterise many of his clients’ operating environments. Allan holds a current government security clearance at NATO Secret level, issued by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service.

Allan holds an HD (Graduate Diploma) in Marketing Management from Aarhus University and a Postgraduate Certificate in select MBA modules from Bradford University School of Management.
