Amrita Dutta

Amrita joined Odgers as a Principal in November 2025 and is based in the Gurgaon office. She is a part of the firm’s Education and Social Sector practices.

She brings more than 18 years of combined experience across the education and executive search sectors, spanning academia and the test-preparation industry. She has been instrumental in founding and scaling several educational initiatives and has served advisory roles in academic institutions and government bodies. 

After 15 years across different aspects of Education and Social sectors, Amrita pivoted it into the executive search industry 4 years back and since then she has built (from scratch in one case) and scaled up education and social sector practices across 2 large executive search firms. In her previous roles with these two firms, she has partnered with leading private and public universities and has addressed complex leadership searches, focused on both academic and other capability drivers.

Amrita holds a master’s degree in marketing from IMI, Delhi, and is an internationally published author.
