Michael Fitzgerald

Based in Boston, Mike is a Partner with Odgers and a senior member of the firm’s Traditional Asset Management, Alternatives, and Wealth Management Practice.

He specializes in recruiting senior leadership positions in distribution, investments, marketing, and product.

Before joining the firm, Mike led the Boston office for a leading professional services firm and previously led the Asset Management Distribution practice for another boutique executive search firm.

Prior to transitioning to search, Mike enjoyed a successful 30-year career in the asset management industry. Mike led US Intermediary Distribution as a Managing Director, at Morgan Stanley Investment Management for six years. He also spent over fourteen years leading sales and relationship management at MFS Investment Management, and nine at Federated Investors.

Throughout his career, Mike has built and led multiple teams across numerous distribution channels. This experience provides him with unique insight into the rapidly changing and complex distribution and investment product landscape. His experience allows him to deliver the necessary expertise and relevant market intelligence to clients, as well as to access high caliber talent across the industry.

Mike received a Bachelor of Science from Siena College and has earned FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 26, and 63 licenses.​
