Currently serves as General Manager of Fintech Tarjeta W (Corporación E. Wong), where he has driven triple-digit customer growth, established key strategic alliances, and developed a platform connecting the financial ecosystem with millions of retail users.
Previously, he was CEO of Fondo Mivivienda, achieving record growth in mortgage placements, strengthening risk management, and obtaining the institution’s first-ever Great Place to Work certification. He also served as CEO of Banco Cencosud, where he positioned the bank among Peru’s leading credit card issuers, led sustainable business growth, and facilitated the sale of the operation to Grupo Scotiabank with a significant return.
Over the course of his executive career, he has also been Risk Manager (CRO) at Banco Falabella and Banco Cencosud, as well as Head of Business Intelligence at Interbank, with a strong focus on innovation, risk control, and large-scale business development.
An economist from PUCP, he holds an Executive MBA from PAD – Universidad de Piura and a specialization in applied statistics. In addition, he has been a graduate professor of Finance at Pacifico Business School since 2015, and an executive mentor for leaders in banking, fintech, and digital transformation.
