Alistair advises boards and senior executives on leadership strategy, with a particular focus on people leadership in complex, customer-facing and mission-driven environments. He also leads the firm’s Human Resources Practice in Australia, supporting the appointment and development of senior HR leaders across sectors.
Alistair brings deep experience in guiding organisations through growth, transformation and cultural change, with a strong emphasis on the role of leadership in building resilience and performance. He works closely with executive teams to align leadership capability with strategic and operational priorities.
Earlier in his career, Alistair led the executive search practice at a boutique leadership advisory firm. He previously served as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Oxford, where his academic training shaped a rigorous and analytical approach to executive assessment and talent strategy.
He plays an active role in Odgers’ global inclusion initiative, Unlimited, and advises clients on inclusive leadership at the most senior levels. He is committed to advancing diversity in leadership and supporting cultures where difference is recognised as a source of strategic value.
Alistair holds degrees in Classics and Law from the University of Melbourne and completed both a master’s and doctorate at the University of Oxford. He is a Member of the Australian HR Institute.
