Pieter Ebeling

Pieter is a Partner at Odgers and leads the Private Equity practice across Europe. In the Netherlands, he also leads the Consumer & Retail practice.

Pieter advises private equity firms and their portfolio companies on executive search, leadership development, and team building. He supports funds across all segments — from small cap to mid market to large cap — in strengthening and developing their portfolio companies. Through the integration of leadership services with sector and functional teams, he supports organisations from due diligence through to exit. He also works with investment teams on strengthening their own leadership and composition.

From a search perspective, he focuses primarily on CFO and CEO positions, complemented by other C-level roles. In the Netherlands, he has helped more than 150 portfolio companies build effective leadership teams.

Prior to this, he worked as a clinical psychologist in forensic psychiatry. As an entrepreneur and avid traveller, he has helped shape a diverse range of organisations. Driven by a sense of social responsibility, he is committed to raising awareness among children and young adults, with the aim of making the world a little more loving, one step at a time.
