Charles F. Preusse​

​Charles has acted as a trusted advisor to senior executives for both large multi-national companies as well as emerging growth companies for more than three decades. He joined Odgers in 2026 after sixteen years at Ridgeway Partners where he was Managing Partner. He works with companies to solve their most complex and strategic talent challenges. Charles has deep experience with high profile advisory search and succession planning engagements for Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Managing Directors, Board members, and a wide range of executive level positions across multiple industries and sectors. Areas of specific focus include financial services, financial technology and private equity.

Prior to joining Ridgeway Partners, Charles spent twenty years in investment banking. Charles was a Managing Director and member of the Investment Banking Operating Committee at Cowen and Company. During his tenure at Cowen, he held positions which included Head of Equity Capital Markets, Head of Services Investment Banking, and co-Head of Aerospace & Defense. Prior to joining Cowen, Charles was a Director in the investment banking group at Prudential Securities. Charles began his career at Merrill Lynch & Co.

Charles received an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College, and a BA from Columbia College, Columbia University. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of The Museum of the American Revolution, and a member of the Economic Club of New York.
