Combining more than a decade of industry experience with international management expertise, Marco Henry Neumueller has, since 2019, been with Odgers, partnering with organisations on senior executive appointments, particularly in manufacturing sectors.
An engineer by training, he earned his degree in Electrical and Information Engineering at the University of Stuttgart while simultaneously pursuing studies in Law at FernUniversität in Hagen. He subsequently completed master’s programmes in Business Law and General Management, complemented by study periods in the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Japan, India and South Korea. His doctoral research in Economics - undertaken as a scholar of the Foundation for Family Businesses and the EQUA Foundation at Witten/Herdecke University - centred on entrepreneurial families.
Marco Henry Neumueller counsels hidden champions, global corporations, private-equity firms and family offices alike. He is particularly recognised for his expertise in manufacturing, technology-driven industries, automotive suppliers and consumer goods. His practice is distinguished by a deep understanding of family- and foundation-owned businesses and a refined sensitivity to corporate culture and succession planning.
He serves on the board of the Stuttgart Chapter of The Economic Council (Wirtschaftsrat Deutschland) and, in 2022, was appointed to the Federal Economic Senate of the German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (Bundeswirtschaftssenat). Marco Henry Neumueller also founded the internet platforms Familienunternehmen im Fokus (FiFo) (www.familienunternehmen.eu) and Aufsichtsrat im Mittelstand (AiM) (www.aufsichtsrat.eu), and he publishes regularly on family business topics. In parallel, he lectures at several universities.
