Caroline Dever

Caroline is co-lead of the board practice and leads the public sector practice in Australia.

Caroline joined Odgers in 2015 and advises boards and chief executives across the private and public sectors. She has extensive experience working nationally and internationally with clients in health, government and the for-purpose sectors. Caroline has interests in equity and leadership, and the roles boards and leaders play in building inclusive organisations for the benefit of employees and shareholders.

Prior to executive search, Caroline spent 10 years in public relations, working with government, technology and listed organisations on reputation management, customer engagement and media relations. Previously, Caroline was co-chair of contemporary dance company, Phillip Adams Ballet Lab and president of one of Melbourne’s largest inner-city community basketball clubs. 

Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe University and a Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from RMIT. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
