Alec Whewell

Alec is a Partner in the Financial Services practice, based in London. He specialises in Chair, NED, and Trustee appointments.

Alec focuses on asset and wealth management (including investment trusts, pension funds, trusts and foundations).

Alec’s knowledge of asset management and related sectors goes back to the 1990s, when he concentrated on asset management, equities and corporate finance / M&A. Alec was a Director and head of the equities practice at The Berwick Group. He joined Odgers on its acquisition of Berwick in 2001 and has specialised in board work since 2005.

Alec graduated in English from Cambridge University.
