Karen Chiew

Karen Chiew leads the Advisory business for APAC at Odgers, where she is responsible for the firm’s client services in leadership and Board assessments, executive and team coaching, and leadership development in the region.

She brings over 25 years of experience as both a consultant and an in-house practitioner, supporting organisations and their leaders to maximise their potential in an increasingly disruptive world. 

In her previous corporate talent management roles across Asia and Europe (including Schneider Electric, Lebara and DBS Bank), Karen focused on building strong leadership pipelines through executive and high-potential development programmes, coaching and developing both emerging talent and senior business leaders, managing talent reviews and mobility processes, and driving culture transformation initiatives. She has also worked in leading management and talent consulting firms, specialising in evidence-based leadership assessments (from emerging talent to C-suite), leadership development, succession planning, talent strategy and executive search. Her global client portfolio spans the industrial, financial services, technology, and life sciences sectors.

Karen is a graduate of Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, with a specialisation in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources Management. She is accredited in Hogan, Saville Wave, MBTI, Strengths Profile and Korn Ferry psychometric instruments, and is a certified Transformational Coach.

Born in Malaysia, Karen has lived and worked in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Italy and Singapore. She brings a strong international perspective and cross-cultural insight to her work with clients.
