Our approach triangulates evidence from several sources ie board papers and minutes, observation, an online governance survey and confidential 1:1 conversations. We offer psychometric profiles which map the strengths in the Board competencies, cognitive agility and culture to enable performance-elevating changes.

- Our expert reviewers operate independently from search colleagues and bring experience as Board members and/or board management, assessment or consultancy across private and public sector organisations with different ownership structures.
- We evaluate the collective Board performance rather than individual director's capabilities which poses no conflict with the activities of our global search experts.
- The Board review is commissioned as a distinct assignment based on agreed objectives (eg, three year independent reviews, s166 governance reviews) and following Odgers’ due diligence regarding the current and future context of the organisation and stakeholders’ expectations.
