Based in London, Ellie Tomoana is a Senior Researcher in the Sports, Gaming, Media & Corporate Affairs Practice, with a particular focus on global sports.

Ellie brings a strong track record in executive search, known for her analytical rigour, sector expertise, and ability to navigate complex talent landscapes. Prior to joining Odgers, she spent three and a half years at one of New Zealand’s leading executive search firms, where she worked across a broad range of industries and roles. 

A former professional athlete, Ellie represented New Zealand in water polo. Her competitive spirit and collaborative mindset translate into a dynamic and team-oriented approach to her work, underpinned by a genuine passion for sport.

Ellie excels at identifying high-calibre talent and supporting sophisticated search mandates through detailed market mapping and insightful candidate analysis.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago.
