Anna Cai

Anna Cai is a Partner based in the Odgers Shanghai office.

She leads the Life Sciences practice across three core areas in Greater China: medical devices; pharmaceuticals & healthcare (including private hospitals, clinics, and senior living communities); and B2B enterprise services. She undertakes senior-level executive search assignments for general management, commercial leadership, sales & marketing, operations, and supply chain roles. Anna collaborates across practice on C-suite and key leadership hiring for both multinational corporations and fast-growing domestic Chinese enterprises.
 
Anna brings over 20 years of hands-on senior-level operating experience across these three sectors in Greater China. She has held country-level executive leadership roles for global multinational organisations, with a proven track record in full P&L ownership, national sales management, go-to-market strategy, market expansion and building high-performing cross-functional teams. Her deep operator-level industry perspective equips her to advise clients on critical senior appointments to drive business transformation and China market growth.
 
Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Shanghai Normal University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Hanzehogeschool van Groningen in the Netherlands.
