Dr Prasad Medury is Chairman of India at Odgers, a position he assumed in July 2025.
He joined the firm in 2017 as Managing Director of its India offices and over an eight-year tenure, he led a period of exponential growth, deepening relationships with Indian corporates and multinational clients, alike. In his current role, he leads the Industrial, Infrastructure, and Education sectors for Odgers in India.
Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Partner for the Indian operations of a leading global network in executive search.
With nearly two decades of executive-search expertise, Prasad specialises in identifying and placing Board members, general management and functional leaders.
Prior to executive search, Prasad worked in Technology sector in general management positions. His last role was as the Managing Director of Silicon Graphics in South Asia, ASEAN and Greater China regions. Earlier he served as CFO in MNC and Indian companies.
Prasad started his career in academics in the USA, working as an Assistant/Associate Professor, after completing a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Prasad serves as a director on unlisted Boards. Additionally, he is Chairman of a reputed School in Gurugram.
