Jeff Mercer

Based in Calgary, Jeff has over 10 years of experience in the professional services sector and is focused on energy, mining, industrial and construction, as well as government and non-profit organizations.

He has a strong background in the industrial and energy sectors and is dedicated to building relationships with clients and sourcing top talent for their executive teams. Jeff has worked with a variety of clients, from small and mid-sized organizations to large global organizations across several industries, including government. Jeff focuses on recruiting C-level executives, Vice Presidents, General Managers, and Directors across several industries in both the private and public sectors.

Prior to joining Odgers, Jeff served as a Partner at a privately held executive search firm, where he led private and public sector searches for senior-level management professionals throughout Canada and the United States. Jeff is known as a leader and mentor and has been involved in coaching minor hockey after completing a successful major junior, university, and professional hockey career. He is also an active volunteer in the community, supporting major charity events, including the Rogers Charity Classic.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia; a Master of Science degree in International Business from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands; a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation; and a Certificate in Risk Management from York University.
