Maximilian Contzen

Maximilian Contzen is an Associate Partner in Odgers’ Munich office and a member of the Technology, CIO, and Business & Professional Services Practice.

He advises private equity firms, their portfolio companies, as well as leading management consulting firms on the placement of senior leadership and value-creation roles.

His client base includes small-, mid-, and large-cap funds as well as family offices. The focus of his assignments is on key roles that directly contribute to the execution of the equity story, particularly in the areas of operational excellence, value-creation levers, and sustainable value growth.

In addition, he represents the "Scale Up Collective" in the DACH region, a global network of experts within Odgers who work closely with private equity and venture capital, including the funds and their portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Odgers, he spent several years at leading top-tier strategy consulting firms such as Bain & Company and The Boston Consulting Group. Maximilian Contzen holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
