Varun Chauhan

Varun Chauhan is a Senior Associate at Odgers India and a member of the firm’s Industrial and Technology practices, specialising in senior leadership hiring and bringing over a decade of executive search experience.

Within the Industrial sector, Varun has executed senior leadership mandates across automotive, chemicals, cement, renewables, engineering, aerospace & defence, EPC, Oil & gas, semiconductors, and metals & minerals. His experience spans leadership searches across APAC, EMEA and the Americas, giving him experience in identifying and engaging leadership talent across both Indian and international markets.

Within Technology, Varun has worked extensively across SaaS, IT services, Technology GCCs and FinTech, executing mandates across Country Leadership, Engineering & Technology Leadership, Sales & Commercial Leadership, and specialist Architecture roles. His work combines sector-led market mapping with end-to-end search execution across complex and highly specialised leadership mandates.

Prior to joining Odgers, Varun was a Consultant with a leading Indian executive search firm, responsible for end-to-end delivery of leadership mandates across sectors. Earlier, he spent over two years in the Consumer Markets practice of a global executive search firm, supporting international offices across Consumer, Leadership Consulting, Industrial and Education. Varun began his career in 2014 with an American multinational organisation focused on search engine technology.
Varun holds a Master’s degree in Marketing & Information Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.
