CEOx1Day is a global program where master’s students spend a day shadowing a senior executive at a Danish company or organization. You gain firsthand insight into leadership, decision-making and value creation in practice, while leaders gain valuable perspectives on the next generation of talent.

Previous years have featured CEOs from Tivoli, Novo Nordisk, Nykredit, TV 2, Google Denmark, Bang & Olufsen, Matas, Copenhagen Airports, Danske Spil, Ambu, ALK, DR, Norlys, ISS, PFA and SimCorp.

I have studied strategy and leadership at CBS, but this experience showed me how it is lived out in practice. What made the strongest impression on me was how much leadership is ultimately about people. For students

As a master’s student, you gain a unique opportunity to experience top-level leadership in practice, strengthen your leadership profile and receive individual feedback on your LeaderFit profile. You gain insight into strategic decision-making, organizational culture and value creation, meet partners at Odgers in Copenhagen, and are matched with a CEO to ensure the day aligns with your interests and ambitions.

The process begins with screening and an interview at Odgers, followed by a LeaderFit assessment and individual feedback. Finalists are then matched with a CEO, and the visit takes place in the fall with a tailored program designed to support meaningful dialogue and reflection.

The program follows clear guidelines for confidentiality and GDPR, and all external communication is coordinated with and approved by you. Odgers manages the screening and selection process, including the LeaderFit assessment, precise matching and all coordination.
