Eduardo Utiyama

Eduardo is an Engagement Manager within Odgers’ Mining Practice and member of the Global Mining Practice.

Based in Toronto, he brings over a decade of experience in executive search, supporting clients across the industrial and mining sectors with senior-level talent acquisition and search execution.

Eduardo joined Odgers from a global boutique search firm, where he most recently served as a Business Director. During his ten-year tenure, he held progressively senior roles and provided full-service recruitment and account management to clients across a range of industries. He has developed broad expertise across the executive search lifecycle and has successfully delivered mandates at multiple organizational levels within the industrial and mining sectors.

Leveraging his international background and fluency in Portuguese and Spanish, Eduardo frequently supports clients with cross-border and South American search requirements, bringing cultural insight and regional market knowledge to complex engagements.

Eduardo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Communications from Brazil. He has lived and worked in Brazil, Japan, Australia, and Canada, contributing to his global perspective and ability to partner effectively with diverse clients and candidates.
