Amber Cunningham

Amber is a Principal Consultant in Odgers’ Legal & Professional Services Practice, based in London.

With over 15 years’ experience in the sector, she leads the firm’s law firm capability across business services roles, with particular focus on the appointment of Chief Operating Officers and Chief Marketing / Business Development Officers. For roles spanning people and culture, finance, and technology / information functions, she works closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver a collaborative, sector- and function-led approach.

In parallel, Amber leads the practice’s governance, risk and regulatory search work. She advises clients on the appointment of General Counsel, Company Secretaries, and senior governance leaders across both private practice and industry, and has extensive experience supporting organisations in developing and strengthening their governance and regulatory functions.

Amber joined Odgers in 2010 and has built her career within the Legal & Professional Services Practice, developing deep sector knowledge and long-standing networks across legal, regulatory, and professional services markets. Earlier in her career, she worked in public service for a regulator, following an initial role as a paralegal in Canada.
